Biography
Meghan Stevens was born in San Francisco, CA. She grew up in Omaha, NE where she currently works and resides. She received a bachelors degree in Fine Art, majoring in painting and printmaking at the California College of the Arts in San Francisco. She earned a Masters degree in Liberal Studies from Creighton University in Omaha, focusing on fine art and philosophy topics. Her largest direct influence came from her father, Dan Boylan, a prominent abstract painter. Her primary media is painting, printmaking, and collage, but always seeks out new physical media to incorporate into her work. She has exhibited in formal galleries, non-traditional spaces and commercial/corporate buildings. Her current influences come from travel, film, books, and interior spaces.
